Main responsibilities:
Ensure the monitoring, support, and communications required with the various railway stakeholders in order to guarantee train movements and shunting operations; Ensure the safety of railway operations; Ensure train documentation is in order and that the necessary records are completed for transport operations.
Carry out the contacts and necessary actions to ensure the implementation of the defined operational plans; Ensure the administrative and operational management of train crews, keeping operational information updated and reliable; Manage the logistics associated with train crews, including travel, accommodation, and support transport, ensuring coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Role requirements and skills profile:
- Completion of 12th grade (secondary education diploma);
- Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in the transport/logistics sector (preferred);
- Proficiency in MS Office Excel and planning tools;
- Knowledge of legislation applicable to railway transport (preferred);
- Knowledge of English and Spanish;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work well in a team;
- Leadership skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and manage priorities;
- Schedule flexibility / Availability to work in shifts;
- Customer-oriented mindset;
- Accuracy and reliability.

Main responsibilities
Plan, coordinate and monitor operational activities, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, in accordance with the policies and guidelines established by the Operations Director and Executive Management.
Monitor the delivery of transport services to identify potential operational or logistical issues, escalate and propose appropriate solutions, ensuring compliance with established requirements and the continuous improvement of service performance.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of operational software systems, while actively participating in the design and implementation of local performance reporting and business intelligence platforms.
Role requirements and skills profile:
- Minimum Higher Education. Preferably a degree in Engineering;
- Recent graduate or previous professional experience in the rail freight logistics sector (preferred).
- Language knowledge: English and Spanish;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Excel and Power BI, including pivot tables, macros and data management;
- Ability to implement and develop digital tools and operational models;
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and reliability;
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
