CAPTRAIN SOLUTIONS
As a provider of integrated services, Captrain develops logistics solutions adapted to the specific needs of our customers, centralized through a single interlocutor. We can combine local rail logistics with regional or cross-border transport services as well as road integration. The offer also includes the supply of wagons, support services for track works and infrastructure management.
CAPTRAIN ON-SITE
Present in more than 50 locations, Captrain is the European specialist in on-site rail logistics operations. In the center of industrial facilities, or intermodal terminals, we offer a complete set of services that go beyond shunting, last mile and transshipment. Our teams can design local railway infrastructure, supervise its operations and ensure other complementary services, such as storage and maintenance.
CAPTRAIN XTRA
To optimize the entire supply chain or specific needs of our customers, we can complement our offer with extra services (Xtra): acquisition of locomotives and drivers, staff training, approval of rolling stock and technical consultancy.
Training Entity
Captrain Portugal stands out as the first railway company certified by the IMT I.P. for train drivers in accordance with the rules established by the 16/2020 law.
This certification allows Captrain Portugal to reinforce its commitment to the qualification of crews, ensuring continuous training in specific training courses (rolling stock and infrastructure certification), as well as initial training to obtain a driver's license.
