Officially on March 4th, 2021, Takargo becomes the first entity certified by the IMT for training train drivers in accordance with Ordinance No. 213/2020, Law 16/2011. With this certification, Takargo will be able to start lecturing courses for initial, continuous, and specific training for the endorsement of complementary certificates for train drivers. This certification allows Takargo to assertively reinforce its commitment to the qualification of crews, ensuring route acknowledgement for drivers without recourse to external entities.
As a certified training entity, Takargo assumes itself as the first Portuguese railway operator qualified to train its drivers or external trainees.
