In May 2019, Takargo reinforced its rolling stock fleet through the acquisition of 3 diesel-electric 1550 series locomotives.
1550 series locomotives are capable of running on the entire national rail network up to a speed of 120 km/h and with a maximum power of 1700 hp.
The first service of Locomotive no. 1565 carried out at Takargo was on the first week of December on Sul Line.
Takargo’s investment in the 1550 locomotives will allow an increase to the services to be provided.
